His career includes invitations as an instructor at the Cancun Tango Festival (Mexico), Costa Rica Tango Festival, and multiple editions of the Colombia Tango Festival. He has also performed in tours and shows in Chile, Ecuador, and Mexico, and has served as a judge at events like Expofest Latino in Cundinamarca. Recognized for his pedagogical and artistic work, he has promoted dance training processes and has become a leading figure in tango in Colombia, standing out for his innovative approach and representing the country on prestigious international stages.

Deivid Santiago Morales Hernández

I'm 26 years old and I've been dancing tango since I was 15. This art has accompanied me for more than half of my life and has allowed me to grow, travel and meet wonderful people who share the same passion. I have trained in several academies in Manizales and I have participated in national and international competitions, becoming a finalist in several of them. Today, as part of the Colombia Tango Festival, I share my experience with those who want to feel tango beyond the step: from the connection, the emotion and the musicality.

Colombian dancer and instructor with 15 years of experience in dance, and National Tango de Pista Champion 2022. Throughout her career, she has participated in festivals, tours, and productions both nationally and internationally, developing solid stage and teaching experience. Specialized in tango, she has taught classes and workshops in various countries across Asia, Europe, and Latin America, sharing the cultural and human richness of this dance. Her pedagogical work focuses on social dance, where connection, listening, and communication between partners form the foundation of learning.

Martín González López

I am a professional tango dancer from Manizales. I began dancing at the age of four and have dedicated my life to this art, training in various styles such as tango, milonga, and vals. I have over five years of experience as an instructor, sharing my knowledge with new generations of dancers. In addition, I work as a tango DJ, which has allowed me to deepen my understanding of tango music and its orchestras, experiencing tango not only through dance but also through its musical essence.

Laura Carolina Castañeda

Tango professional dancer with a trajectory of more than twenty years dedicated to this art. National Champion in the years 2007 and 2014, and winner of fourth place in the World Championship Milongueros del Mundo in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have participated in outstanding plays and in various representative events of the Milonguera community in cities such as Bogotá, Medellín, Cali, Bucaramanga, and in stages of Chile and Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Mayi Yulie Yepes Arboleda

Mayi Yepes began her dance training at the age of 8, developing into an authentic, entrepreneurial, sensual, and elegant dancer. She was World Vice-Champion in the Milongueros del Mundo category in 2023 at the Metropolitan Tango Festival held annually in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and a World Tango Championship semifinalist. In 2025, she became a two-time champion in the Tango de Pista and Milonga de Pista categories at the Medellín International Tango Festival. She has also been a three-time consecutive National Champion at the Manizales Tango Vía Fair, winning the Tango, Milonga, and Vals de Pista categories. She currently organizes and directs the MYC Tango Festival, and is the creator and organizer of Buena Junta, La Inefable, and Milonga en lo de Sandiego. Her classes focus on developing body awareness while providing the technical tools each student needs to understand the character of every tango and connect deeply with both the music and their partner.

Julian Cataño

Julián is a Colombian dancer who, since the age of eight, has found in tango a passion and a heritage that runs through his veins. His childhood was shaped by a family legacy that, generation after generation, has devoted its life to dance. With more than 19 years of experience, he travels the world proudly bringing Colombian tango to festivals, theaters, and stages, where his dance becomes a cultural bridge that connects emotions, identities, and generations. His talent has also shone at home, being a nine-time champion in Colombia (2008–2022), fifth place at the Tango World Championship in Buenos Aires (2017), and champion in Quito, Ecuador (2016). Currently, he teaches tango in several Asian countries, adapting his method to multicultural contexts and promoting this dance as an artistic and cultural bridge.

A dancer from Manizales with extensive national and international experience, she is passionate about tango, with over 20 years of experience. She has participated in competitions, festivals, and events, where she has demonstrated her ability to connect with the audience, express emotions through movement, and her professionalism. She is eager to contribute her creativity and energy to new tango projects. She is a tango professional committed to teaching and promoting this cultural dance. She has had the opportunity to teach students of different levels, fostering both technique and a passion for the dance. Her goal is to create an inspiring and motivating environment that allows her students to develop their own style and confidence on the dance floor.

Teacher, choreographer, and professional ballroom dancer with over 30 years of experience in the field of tango dance. He has participated in numerous national and international dance shows, sharing the stage with Miguel Angel Zotto and Soledad Rivero. He has won several national champions in the ballroom and stage tango categories. He won fifth place at the 2004 World Tango Championships in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in the ballroom tango category. Ninth place at the 2005 World Tango Championships in the stage tango category. He has served as a judge for dance competitions in Cali and Manizales. He coaches dance couples in the city. As a choreographer, he has achieved podium positions. He has performed dance exhibitions with renowned figures such as Diana Giraldo, World Tango Champion, Ornella Simonetto, and Analia Centurión. He currently runs his own dance school in Cali: Dinastía Caleña, a school for dancers.

Throughout my career, I’ve shared my knowledge as a teacher at institutions such as Idartes and Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano. I’m currently continuing to refine my art alongside maestro John Galindo.

My name is Claudia Giraldo. I have been dedicated to tango for eight years, a journey that has taken me to study and refine my dance in Buenos Aires on two occasions. I have just returned from an intensive period of practice and training there. In 2019, I won the Amateur Tango de Salón Championship at the Manizales Fair, and I currently teach at the University of Caldas and at La Calle del Tango. Tango is my way of life a bridge between art, emotion, and culture.
